The battle for environment in the modern world is deepening rapidly and it covers not only the fight against GHG emissions and deforestation but also other problems. Almost every year the Western Ukraine suffers from floods that destroy roads, buildings and bridges. Natural disasters always “wash away” local budgets and cause considerable damage to the central government. What are the best possible solutions in this case and how these problems are being neutralized elsewhere?
