Investing in infrastructure: Costs, benefits and effectiveness of disaster risk reduction measures

Our joint event, organized by the OECD Public Governance Directorate and PLACARD (Platform for Climate Adaptation and Risk Reduction), addressed different aspects of investment in resilient infrastructure. This successful event was conducted under the auspices of the OECD High Level Risk Forum on September 18-19 in Paris at OECD premises and brought together more than 20 experts and different representatives from authorities of different countries such as Austria, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the US and other countries (see picture).
